a bit about wei, club owner
I was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand, and in 2014 I moved to Sydney to work at Australia’s largest gymnastics facility.
I looked after their tumbling program where I learnt all the ‘ins and outs’ of tumbling in Australia.
From there I was offered a job to start a brand new gymnastics club at a community PCYC. It was here that I learned all the skills to drive a successful team and how to make a positive impact in the community.
Although I love the role, I very much missed the hands-on coaching aspect of tumbling. I moved on to become head of Tumbling in a gymnastics club in NSW that had over 2000 athletes.
During my time there I was selected to not only coach the NSW Tumbling team at the Australian National championships, but also the Australian National team who competed at the World Age Group Competition in St Petersburg, Russia in 2018.
Feeling confident that I had learned enough I took the leap from club coach to the club owner!”
